Swimming at the Baie de Beauport
The Baie de Beauport offers a pool that’s certainly bigger than the one next door: the Saint Lawrence River! It is the only beach in Quebec where you can fully enjoy the river, with safe and specially designed access for swimming.
Our priority is the health and safety of swimmers, which is why tests are conducted daily to ensure water quality. Swimming may be closed at any time depending on conditions. Keep an eye on our homepage, updated every morning at 9:30 a.m., to find out if swimming is allowed or not.

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
A hippocampus chair is available for free at the boutique to allow mobility-restricted boaters to swim and stroll on the sand. Additionally, a 388-foot-long wheelchair access mat is in place at all times, making it easier to move around the beach.
