What facilities and activities are available for people with reduced mobility?
Since 2021, several initiatives have been implemented year after year to make our urban beach facilities and activities more accessible for people with reduced mobility. Here are some of them:
- A hippocampe wheelchair is available free of charge at the shop to allow people with reduced mobility to swim and walk on the sand.
- An adapted paddleboard is available free of charge at the shop for a duration of 1 hour.
- A 388-foot wheelchair access mat is in place at all times, facilitating movement on the beach.
- We have 13 adapted picnic tables.
- The restrooms are equipped with adapted sinks.
- Parking spaces reserved for boaters with reduced mobility are available at all times.

Do I have to book in advance to access the beach?
No, it’s not possible to book in advance. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
We recommend that you arrive in the morning to make sure you have a spot on hot summer days.

Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you can!
You can also bring your own BBQ. However, you must stay on the grassed areas and only gas BBQs are allowed. You can also enjoy the charcoal BBQs installed near the information kiosk, you just need to bring your own charcoal or buy some at the information kiosk, depending on the opening hours!
Please note that it is forbidden to use your own BBQ on the beach, in the plain, and in the parking lot.

Is smoking allowed on the premises?
The site is smoke-free. Smoking tobacco and cannabis consumption are strictly prohibited within the premises.

Is there a safe ride home service available at la Baie de Beauport?
TZ Capitale Nationale provides a safe ride home service for Baie de Beauport customers, available from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., 365 days a year. Phone number: 418-861-9590.
The COOP taxi service is also available at 418-525-5191.

Can we camp or leave our RV overnight?
You can stay overnight at Baie de Beauport with an RV or trailer, however, tenting and camping are strictly prohibited. Reservations must be made online. For more information, visit the Overnight Stay section on our website or contact Go-Van at host@go-van.com.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
The only alcoholic beverages permitted are those sold at our bars. It is mandatory to open any container, bag, cooler, etc. upon request by one of our staff members. Refusal will result in denial of access to the site.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but they must be kept on a leash at all times, and they are not permitted to wade in the swimming area.

Can I bring a BBQ on the site?
You can bring your own BBQ. However, you must stay on the beach and only gas BBQ are allowed. You can also enjoy the charcoal BBQs set up near the information kiosk, you just need to bring your own charcoal or buy some at the information kiosk, depending on the opening hours!

Is there a swimming pool on site?
There is no swimming pool on-site, but water games allow people to cool off outside of the authorized swimming hours.

Are motorboats allowed?
Motorboats are not allowed on the premises, nor can they dock at our pier.

Can I have a fire on the site?
Fires are not permitted on the beach of the Baie de Beauport.

Are my boat enclosure spot and locker automatically reserved each season as a member?
You have priority over your previous spot. However, it is necessary to respect the reservation deadline to ensure you secure it.

Is access to the site free?
No!
Parking fees are $10 per car, and there’s an access fee of $2 per adult (16 years and older, free for those 15 years and younger) from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
