What facilities and activities are available for people with reduced mobility?
Since 2021, several actions have been put in place year after year to make the facilities and activities at our beach in town are accessible as possible for people with reduced mobility.
Here are a few of them:
A seahorse chair is available free of charge from the boutique to enable people with reduced mobility to swim and walk on the sand.
An adapted paddleboard is available free of charge at the boutique for 1 hour.
A 388-foot-long wheelchair access mat is always in place, facilitating movement on the beach.
13 adapted picnic tables.
Adapted sinks in washrooms.
Parking for disabled boaters available always.

Do I have to book in advance to have access to the beach?
No, it’s not possible to book in advance. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
We recommend that you arrive in the morning to make sure there’s enough space on hot summer days.

Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you can!
You can also bring your own BBQ. However, you must stay on the beach and only gas BBQ are allowed. You can also take advantage of the charcoal BBQs set up near le Nordet Ice cream parlor. All you must do is bring your own charcoal or buy some at le Nordet Ice cream parlor, depending on opening hours.

Is smoking allowed on site?
The site is non-smoking. The consumption of tobacco and cannabis is strictly forbidden inside the site.

Is there an escort service available at la Baie de Beauport?
TZ Capitale Nationale offers the Baie de Beauport customers a drive-home service available from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., 365 days a year. Telephone number: 418-861-9590.
COOP cab service is also available at 418-525-5191.

Can we camp or leave our RV overnight?
It is possible to sleep at the Baie de Beauport with an RV or trailer, but it is forbidden to pitch a tent and camp. Reservations must be made online. For more information, visit the Sleeping section of our website or contact Go-Van at host@go-van.com.

Are alcoholic beverages tolerated?
The only alcoholic beverages permitted are those sold at our bars. It is mandatory to open any container, bag, cooler, etc. upon request by one of our employees. Refusal will result in denial of access to the site.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but only on a leash only and they may not wade in the swimming area.

Can I bring a BBQ on site?

Is there a swimming pool on site?
There’s no swimming pool on site, but there are water games to cool off outside authorized swimming hours.

Are motorboats allowed?
Motorboats are not allowed on site, nor can they dock at our quay.

Can we light a fire on site?
It is forbidden to make fires on the beach of the Baie de Beauport.

Is my spot in the boat enclosure and my locker reserved each season as a member?
You have priority over your previous spot. You must, however, respect the reservation deadline to ensure that you get your previous spot.

Is access to the site free?
No!
Parking is $10 per car, and there’s an access fee of $2 per adult (16+, free for 15 and under) from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

When can I register at the nautical station?
It will be possible to register and store your boat or equipment as early as Mid-March.

When will the Baie de Beauport be open?
Low season:
May 11 to June 14 September 3 to October 13
High season:
June 15 to September 2
