The following regulations apply to anyone on the premises or using the services of Baie de Beauport managed by Gestev Events Management Inc. ("Gestev").

1. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a parent at all times in play areas and on the beach.

2. No glass containers are allowed on the premises.

3. Bringing your own alcohol is prohibited.

4. Being intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, loitering, fighting, and begging are prohibited.

5. Causing or inciting any tumult, noise, disorder, disturbance, or behaving in a manner that disturbs public peace or tranquility is prohibited.

6. No verbal violence, aggression, or any form of intimidation will be tolerated towards other visitors of Baie de Beauport or Gestev staff.

7. Soliciting, peddling, or conducting itinerant sales without prior written authorization from an authorized representative of Gestev is prohibited.

8. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and their owners must pick up after them.

9. The use of drones is prohibited.

10. Swimming is only permitted when signage indicates. Check the signage on the beach and the official website of Baie de Beauport to see if swimming is open or closed.

11. It is forbidden to bring a floating island.

12. Cyclists moving around the Baie de Beauport site must walk beside their bikes.

13. Smoking or vaping cannabis is prohibited on the Baie de Beauport site.

14. Having in possession any object, material, or equipment used for the consumption of illicit drugs is prohibited.

15. You can bring your own BBQ to the site. However, you must stay on the grassy areas, and only gas BBQs are allowed. You can also enjoy the charcoal BBQs installed near the information booth; just bring your own charcoal or purchase some at the booth during operating hours. Please note that using your own BBQ on the beach, in the open field, or in the parking lot is prohibited.

16. Gestev and the Quebec Port Authority are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

17. Gestev and the Quebec Port Authority are not responsible for accidents and injuries that occur on the site.

18. The use of facilities at Baie de Beauport and engaging in activities on the premises involve certain inherent risks and dangers; engaging in these activities (particularly water activities) is at your own risk. You represent that you have all the necessary skills and faculties to engage in the activities concerned. You agree to comply with all applicable regulations and safety instructions.

19. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the activities carried out at Baie de Beauport are authorized, and Gestev makes no representations or warranties in this regard.

20. Damaging the premises and facilities of Baie de Beauport or engaging in actions that could damage them is prohibited.

21. No flammable and/or explosive materials of any kind may be brought or stored on the premises of Baie de Beauport under any circumstances.

22. It is prohibited for any person to possess a knife, dagger, saber, machete, white weapon, firearm, compressed air weapon, bow or crossbow, pepper spray animal repellent in aerosol bomb form, or any similar item.

23. It is mandatory to open any container, bag, cooler, etc. upon request by one of Gestev's authorized representatives. Refusal will result in denial of access to the site or expulsion from it. No refunds and/or compensation will be issued.

24. Gestev shall have free access to the premises at all times, particularly for inspection purposes. Gestev may require the removal of any equipment it deems dangerous, poorly maintained, unnecessary, or incompatible with the proper management of Baie de Beauport, without liability in this regard.

25. You must at all times comply with the applicable regulations of Baie de Beauport, the standards for the use of the premises and activities held therein as determined and communicated from time to time by Gestev or as presented on the premises or published on the official website of Baie de Beauport, as well as all applicable municipal, provincial, and federal laws, directives, and regulations concerning Baie de Beauport, including those issued by the Quebec Port Authority and any other authority having jurisdiction over the premises.

26. Gestev has the right to require that any person present on the premises of Baie de Beauport cease any behavior or activity that contravenes applicable regulations, laws, or otherwise authorized uses by Gestev or that is not compatible with the proper management of Baie de Beauport and the peaceful enjoyment thereof by all users. Gestev may refuse access to Baie de Beauport and expel any person who does not comply with these regulations. No refunds and/or compensation will be issued.

27. Gestev reserves the right to withdraw a ticket, sticker, special permit, or seasonal access right from users who do not comply with the relevant regulations. No refunds and/or compensation will be issued.

28. These terms impose no obligation on the Quebec Port Authority, and you acknowledge that you have no recourse against the Quebec Port Authority in connection with these terms.

Access to Baie de Beauport and Parking:

Opening Days and Hours

Access to Baie de Beauport and applicable services are only available on opening days and hours as determined by Gestev at its sole discretion and specifically exclude any special or private events that may be held on the premises. Access schedules and services offered may be modified at any time by Gestev without notice, in connection with weather conditions, sanitary conditions, and any other reason determined by Gestev in its sole discretion.

Weather Conditions and Site Closure

The customer is responsible for checking the weather forecast before arriving at the Baie de Beauport site. In case of rain, storms, adverse weather conditions, or any malfunction of the site's equipment (including, for example, any power outage), Gestev may decide to close Baie de Beauport for the necessary duration. Information regarding the closure of Baie de Beauport will be disseminated by Gestev before 9:00 am on the same morning through the various official information platforms of Baie de Beauport (website and phone). You are responsible for checking the opening hours on these platforms before going to Baie de Beauport. Gestev assumes no responsibility if you arrive at the site and it is closed.

Furthermore, services at Baie de Beauport may be temporarily suspended if such conditions occur during the day, at Gestev's discretion. If conditions do not improve, Gestev reserves the right to cease operations for safety reasons and close the premises and any associated services.

Access and Parking

  • On-Site Purchase: Daily tickets, parking tickets, and seasonal access passes can be purchased directly at the entrance of the Baie de Beauport site. However, Gestev cannot guarantee the availability of said tickets upon your arrival.
  • Online Purchase: Daily tickets, parking tickets, and seasonal access passes can also be purchased via the official website of Baie de Beauport. You will receive a confirmation email and your invoice when the purchase process is completed. Present yourself directly at the entrance of Baie de Beauport with your proof of payment.
  • Parking: Parking spaces at the entrance of the Baie de Beauport site are limited and are on a "first come, first served" basis. Purchasing a daily ticket, parking ticket, or seasonal access pass does not guarantee you a parking space at the desired time.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • In the event of a schedule change, suspension of services, or closure of Baie de Beauport, no refunds and/or compensation will be issued.
  • Tickets and access passes are non-refundable, non-transferable to another person, and non-negotiable. These products are valid exclusively for the period for which they were purchased and cannot be transferred to another season without the written consent of Gestev.
  • No refunds or exchanges for tickets and access passes purchased at the Baie de Beauport ticket office or via the website. Before purchasing your tickets or access passes via the website, make sure to check your personal information, contact details, and the type of product chosen.
  • Gestev assumes no responsibility if tickets or access passes are copied without authorization and/or used by another person.

Liability Policy

The use of Baie de Beauport facilities and the practice of activities therein involve certain inherent risks and dangers. By purchasing an access ticket or subscription, you agree to comply with all applicable regulations and safety instructions at Baie de Beauport and for the activities concerned, and you accept full responsibility for any damages of any kind that may occur in connection with your activities at the Baie de Beauport site.

Pricing and Payment Policy

Baie de Beauport accepts MasterCard and Visa credit cards. Debit cards are only accepted in person.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Gestev reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions of purchase and prices at any time. The new conditions come into effect upon their online posting.

Rules for Campsite Users:

The following regulations are intended to ensure the tranquility and well-being of campers on our site. This way, all customers can fully enjoy their stay in a respectful atmosphere. Any person who fails to comply with any of these regulations may face expulsion.

Campground Inclusions

  • Campsite with validated sticker (issued upon reservation)
  • Grass-covered campsite with no services
  • Fire pit
  • Access to the site and all services at Baie de Beauport according to the opening hours (bracelet provided upon arrival at the campground)
  • Access to the bathrooms and outdoor showers at Baie de Beauport site during opening hours.

Informations

  • Check-in time: Between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM
  • Firewood available for purchase on-site ($)
  • No dumping station on-site
  • No Wi-Fi available on-site
  • No movements allowed between 11:00 PM and 9:30 AM (Campground booth closed) unless in case of emergency

Campground Rules

The following rules aim to ensure the tranquility and well-being of campers on our site. Thus, all customers can fully enjoy their stay in a respectful atmosphere. Any person who fails to comply with any of these rules may face expulsion.

1. Responsibilities

  • Each camper is responsible for their equipment, their campsite, and their actions.
  • All campers must have insurance coverage against fire, theft, vandalism, and civil liability.
  • The Campground is not responsible for damages, fires, thefts, or vandalism, at any time.
  • Curfew is from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM at all times. We ask you to respect the tranquility and sleep of other campers. No noise that can be heard from neighboring sites is allowed.
  • At all times, no amplified music will be tolerated.
  • Drug use is prohibited and leads to immediate expulsion.
  • Any damages caused to the Campground property by campers are subject to a fine.
  • No verbal abuse, aggression, or any form of intimidation will be tolerated towards campground staff or between tenants, visitors, or others.

2. Parking pass

  • All campers must display their parking pass on their vehicle.
  • A camper may not give or lend their parking pass to another person. If caught, the pass will be automatically confiscated, and the camper will be immediately evicted, losing their campsite in the process.

3. Fire

  • At all times, the fire must be under the supervision of a responsible person. The fire must be extinguished when unsupervised.
  • It is strictly forbidden to burn materials that emit unpleasant odors.
  • It is prohibited to cut, damage, or remove a tree, shrub, or any other vegetation, as well as to attach a rope to it for any reason.
  • Fireworks are prohibited.

4. Waste and Recycling

  • Upon departure, do not leave any waste, cardboard, or other items in the fire pits.
  • Dispose of waste in the designated facilities.

5. Drinking Water

  • No connection to drinking water available at the campground.

6. Sewage

  • No service and no dumping on-site.

7. Electricity

  • No service.

8. Pets

  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, their waste must be picked up by the pet owner, and barking is not allowed.

A person who violates these regulations may be expelled immediately by an authorized representative of Gestev, without refund or further notice.

Seasonal Subscriptions for Boat Access/Launching:

Seasonal subscriptions for boat access/launching can be purchased directly through the official website of Baie de Beauport. For any subscription involving boat storage, please contact Gestev customer service.

Duration

The subscription is exclusive to the purchaser (hereinafter referred to as the "Subscriber") and cannot be transferred or assigned to another person. The Subscriber must be the exclusive owner of the boat concerned or have obtained all required authorization from the owner thereof, and hold all rights, permits, authorizations, and licenses required for the use of this boat at Baie de Beauport.

The subscription period begins on the date indicated by Gestev upon registration, subject to the Subscriber's full payment of applicable fees, and ends upon the expiration of the subscription period as indicated by Gestev.

Services

Depending on the type of subscription selected by the Subscriber at registration, the following services may be accessible to the Subscriber during the subscription period during the opening hours of Baie de Beauport:

  • Access to common areas of Baie de Beauport for you and your family (maximum of two adults and three children in total), including access to the beach for recreational activities;
  • Access to Baie de Beauport parking for one standard automobile subject to availability;
  • In the case of subscriptions for access to water for catamarans and dinghies only, boat hauling services (launching) on a "first come, first served" basis according to the schedule determined by Gestev. Only authorized representatives of Gestev may haul dinghies and catamarans. In the event of towing of your boat by Gestev, you agree that towing will be carried out according to Gestev's applicable standards and parameters.
  • A magnetic card allowing access either to the area reserved for launching windsurfing boards, kites (kite surfing), paddle boards, and kayaks, or to the sailboat area (catamarans and dinghies), depending on the type of boat covered by the subscription, subject to receipt by Gestev of the applicable deposit; the deposit will be refunded to the Subscriber at the end of the subscription period upon return of the magnetic card by the Subscriber to a Gestev representative.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The Subscriber agrees to:

  • Use the premises solely for the purpose of using their boat and participating in authorized activities at Baie de Beauport;
  • Take all measures to ensure the safety of passengers aboard their boat, including during any towing operation if applicable;
  • Immediately notify Gestev of any incidents, defects, or damage to the premises or Baie de Beauport of which they become aware, without necessarily being responsible;
  • Ensure that their boat does not exceed twenty (20) feet. For any boat over 21 feet, you must contact Gestev customer service;
  • Respect and ensure the respect by their guests of all applicable regulations, laws, and directives.

Gestev reserves the right to terminate any subscription, without notice or delay, in the event that a Subscriber (or one of their guests) does not comply with applicable regulations. Gestev may remove from the premises any persons and property found there by any means necessary, regain possession and enjoyment of the premises concerned, and, if required, store, at the expense of the Subscriber, all movable property found on the premises. The Subscriber waives any recourse or claim in connection with the foregoing.

Privileges and Discounts

Gestev may decide to grant certain privileges and discounts to the Subscriber during the subscription period. These privileges are only offered to subscribers and cannot be transferred to third parties, including guests. Gestev may at any time modify the terms or conditions of these privileges and discounts without notice. Gestev may limit, block, suspend, or terminate the privileges and discounts of a Subscriber for any reason, including if they make illegal, unreasonable, or abusive use of these privileges or the facilities/services of Baie de Beauport. Some privileges and discounts are only offered to subscribers aged eighteen (18) and over.

Insurance

The Subscriber undertakes to maintain, during the entire subscription period, nautical insurance covering damage to their equipment/boat and the resulting liability. This insurance may be included in a home insurance policy as an extension of coverage. This insurance will waive subrogation against Gestev and add it as an additional insured in the event of a claim against Gestev involving the equipment/boat.
