A must-visit to enjoy the summer !

The Baie de Beauport at the Port of Quebec will fully open its doors on June 15! Everyone will now be able to fully enjoy the site's facilities, seven days a week, from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Located just five minutes from downtown Quebec City, Baie de Beauport, operated by Gestev, will once again offer outdoor enthusiasts the chance to cool off in the swimming area or water games, enjoy various cultural and sports activities, and, of course, relax with their feet in the sand to savor the experience of this unique site in Quebec City.

Once again, a memorable season awaits visitors!


What's new?

This year, several services have been revamped to to continuously enhance the visitor experience!

Notably, the cabanas are now designed for relaxation with lounge chairs to enhance your swimming sessions. A pickleball court is currently under construction, and a cozy reading nook has been added to the terrace between the two pavilions.

A refreshing change is also coming to the food offerings. The two food concessions will now be Roma Pizza and Russo’s Sandwiches. Enjoy delicious slices of pizza by the river... or perhaps a gourmet sandwich?

The outdoor ice cream parlor and Bar Lounge are merging to become Le Nordet - Ice Cream Parlor · Bar · Café. For the first time, guests of all ages can enjoy soft-serve ice cream right in the Main Pavilion! Frozen cocktails and coffees will also be served in the coolness of the building.


What's back

This season, the Baie de Beauport at the Port of Québec returns with its diversified, well-established offering, including many of the classics that make this getaway a must-visit.

These include:

  • The famous concept of pop-up stores on the boardwalk
  • The Délire Parc of Délire Escalade
  • Go-Van Village campsite
  • Windsurfing school
  • Kitesurfing school with Kitesurfquebec
  • Jet-ski rentals with Motomarine Québec
  • The Corona Bar
  • The Odyssée day camp


The 2024 Schedule

Many new activities have been added to the summer program this year!

These include :

  • The comeback of Rebel Yoga Sundays with the addition of Rebel Yoga Tuesdays (given the great popularity of beachside yoga classes).
  • A first-ever showcase day with QC Skateboard

It's also the return of :

  • Apéreau
  • Latin evenings with salsa and bachata classes with Blue Mambo
  • Family Day
  • Several regattas throughout the season

Finally, the site will be one of the host sites for the Transat Québec St-Malo.

All summer long, young and not-so-young alike will be able to solve the riddles in the "Tide of Secrets" game organized by Défi-Évasion, an initiative of the Port of Québec!

Cigale, the Beats · Eats · Beachside experience

For the 3rd year running, Baie de Beauport will host the Cigale festival. Building on the success of its first two editions, the event returns this year on August 10th and 11th to the Port of Québec's Baie de Beauport with a breathtaking program.

Headlining: Dennis Lloyd, Chet Faker, The Cat Empire and Bon Entendeur.

Accessibility for the reduced-mobility guests at the heart of our priorities

Several new features have also been added to the site's facilities for customers with reduced mobility, such as :

  • 100 additional feet of wheelchair-accessible access mat installed directly on the beach, totaling 716 feet in length and allowing easy access to the water at low tide.
  • Additional parking spaces
  • Fast entry via the exit,
  • Adapted bathrooms
  • A new launching ramp.

A wheelchair-friendly paddleboard is also available for rental, as is a seahorse chair, an all-terrain wheelchair adapted for swimming.

And let's not forget the extended picnic tables, for better access by people with reduced mobility.

Inclusive Activities Day powered by ARLPH

On June 15, Baie de Beauport is hosting an Inclusive Activities Day, powered by the Association régionale de loisir pour les personnes handicapées Chaudière-Appalaches (ARLPH), dedicated to individuals with reduced mobility and special needs.

This event, open to everyone, highlights the many installations developed over the years at Baie de Beauport, ensuring that all visitors can fully enjoy the riverside experience:

Planned activities include :

  • Adapted paddle on the river
  • Inclusive yoga sessions
  • Adapted Zumba classes
  • Functional workout
  • Seated volleyball
